In the fight against COVID-19, the Sheriff’s office of the Sweetwater County, WY is collaborating with Sweetwater’s County COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center to start manufacturing protective gear equipment for its employees and emergency first responders. Due to the noticeable nationwide shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), the Sheriff’s office is using professional grade 3D printers to produce N95 masks using a template created by a group of Doctors that made this available free of charge.

“In reaction to the overwhelming lack of readily accessible PPE across the world, we are now using our recently acquired ‘Raise3D Pro2’ 3D printer to produce N95 masks using a template created by Montana neurosurgeon, Dr. Rusty Richardson, dentist, Dr. Spencer Zaugg and Dr. Zaugg’s Son, Colton,” said Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Joe Tomich.
