New Features

1. Added auto bed-leveling.

(1) Click on “Leveling” in the “Utilities” page to enter the auto leveling interface. Choose from the “Full Mode”, 63 points (9*7) leveling, or the “Simple Mode”, 9 points (3*3) leveling as required. Clean the build plate, nozzles, and probes before running the leveling.

(2) After the leveling is complete, the 3D leveling data will display on the screen. Click on “Leveling data” icon to view the last leveling data, as shown below:

(3) Click on “2D” to enter the 2D interface and view the 2D data of the last leveling.

(4) Click on “Settings” to enter the Auto-leveling setting page. The functions “Enable Mesh Data Compensation”, “Auto probe before each print” was added in the setting page. The functions “Turn off leveling compensation when using Raft”, “Heat up the heatbed before leveling” was added in the advanced settings, as shown below:

2. An added filament template management function.

(1) View filament templates by visiting „Utilities > Filament Loader > Filament Templates„.

(2) Select the left nozzle/right nozzle to enter the filament template interface.

(3) Click „Export“ to export all filament templates.

(4) Import specified filament templates via USB drive.

3. An added Built-in Offset Calibration guide.

Click “Setting > Maintenance > Offset Calibration” to enter the 5-step Offset Calibration. Make sure all the conditions are met before running the calibration.

a.The filament used in two nozzles is Raise3D Premium PLA filament.

b.Select the nozzle diameter that matches each nozzle.

c.Clean the heatbed and the nozzle.

There are five steps in the calibration, we strongly recommend completing them in order.

Step 1: Left Z Probe Offset

The Z-direction offset of the left nozzle is the distance from the nozzle to the build plate when the probe is triggered. If the distance is too far, the print will not stick to the build plate and the printing shape will be deformed. If the distance is too close, it will lead to too little extrusion, nozzle scraping, and other problems.

Step 2: Right Z Probe Offset

The Z-direction offset value of the right nozzle is measured in the same way as that of the left nozzle. Please follow the same measurement method.

Step 3: Bed Leveling

Automatically level the flatness of the build plate.

Step 4: R-Nozzle X/Y Offset

Calibrate the X/Y offset of the right nozzle.

Step 5: Dual-Color Cube
This step is to verify whether the X/Y offset value of the right nozzle is measured accurately by printing a dual-color cube.

4. Added a function that can “pause printing” when the door is opened, once the function is enabled.

(1) Visit „Settings > More Settings > Advanced Settings > “Pause printing when the door is opened“ to enable the function.

(2) Once this function is turned on the printer will suspend the printing task if the front door, side door, or top cover is opened during the printing process.

(3) When the door is closed, the paused print job will resume automatically.

5. Added a nozzle heating timeout setting.

(1) Enable this by visiting „Settings > More Settings > Advanced Settings > “Nozzle Heating Timeout Setting„.

(2) Set the timeout time and temperature.

6. Allowed users to remotely control the printer via RaiseCloud

A one-click function “Power Saving Mode” was added. When you click the “Power Saving Mode” icon on the status bar, the printer will automatically enter the power saving mode. The screen will turn off, the LED strip light will turn off, and the light on the extruder will turn off. Enable the function with “Power Saving Mode” in „Setting > More Settings > Advanced Settings > Power Saving Mode„.
