I have two Raise3D, N2 and Pro2 machines, with more than 10,000 hours of production, the main characteristic that I emphasize is the reliability and robustness and the standard of precision that the machine produces.

A Long History of Cooperation

Atelier Naval has been working with Raise3D since 2017, becoming one of the first users of Raise3D printers in Brazil. To date, Mariano has been using the Pro2 and N2 printers for 8 years, accumulating more than 10,000 hours of printing time. These printers not only provide unprecedented precision and reliability for his creations, but also greatly simplify the production process and reduce the time required to manufacture parts. For Mariano, the use of 3D printing technology marks a major shift from manual construction and CNC machining to more efficient and precise methods. This long and solid partnership not only witnesses the durability of Raise3D products, but also reflects its reliability and efficiency in industrial applications.

Durability of Pro2 Series and N2

In 2015, Raise3D launched its epoch-making professional-grade 3D printer N Series, which was one of the largest printing areas on the market at the time. In 2017, N2 was named „Best 3D Printer of the Year“ and „Best Large Format 3D Printer“ by Magazine Make and appeared on the cover of the magazine. Also, N2 was named „Best Professional 3D Printer of the Year“ by 3D Hubs, the world’s largest online manufacturing platform. Taking advantage of this favorable trend, Raise3D released the Pro2 Series 3D printers in 2018. Raise3D’s award-winning Pro2 Series is recognized as a benchmark and gold standard for professional 3D printing applications and 24/7 reliability.

“The reliability and robustness of Raise3D systems are impressive,“ said Mariano. „The precision standards they produce are the main reason I chose this equipment.”

– Carlos Eduardo Mariano, Atelier Naval

Mariano also mentioned the simplicity and practicality of the RaiseCloud software, and praised the excellent technical support and after-sales service provided by UP3D as a sales partner in Brazil. „If I need to buy new equipment, I will definitely choose UP3D again. They provide excellent after-sales support.“

Creative Process

Each project begins with a 3D design provided by the shipyard, which is then adapted for production on the Raise3D Pro2 and N2 printers. The finished parts are carefully painted by hand to ensure that every detail of the final product meets the highest standards. The materials used include PLA plastic, automotive and marine fillers and paints, metals, acrylics, and wood veneers to ensure that the model can faithfully reproduce the essence of the prototype in both appearance and texture.

In addition, he has also provided services to many well-known shipyards, such as Intermarine, Azimut Yacht, etc.

In this era of rapid development, the cooperation between Atelier Naval and Raise3D not only shows how technological innovation can promote the development of traditional crafts, but also proves that even the oldest industries can be revitalized by embracing new technologies.

As Mariano shows, true art lies in the perfect fusion of the power of technology and the soul of the craftsman, and the durability of the Raise3D Pro2 and N2 series printers is the indispensable supporting force behind this fusion.
