The Helping Hand Project: Prosthetic Devices

The Helping Hand Project is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing 3D printed prosthetic hands free of charge for children in need. Combined with the Raise3D N2, the Helping Hand Project utilizes the volume of the printer for many applications just like this one.  For 5 year old Jacob, the Helping Hand team created a custom Star Wars inspired prosthetic hand tailored to fit Jacob’s needs and unique geometry. Now, this Storm Trooper prosthesis allows him to grip objects with ease.
