PET Support 

A cost effective break-away support material designed for composite filaments.

Raise3D Industrial PET Support Filament is a break-away support material specially designed for FFF printing with fiber reinforced filaments. In contrast to printing supports using the same material, PET support filament is easier to remove and allows for detailed surface quality and dimensional accuracy. Compared to water soluble support materials, the lower moisture absorption and the performance-cost ratio of PET support both make it an ideal alternative to BVOH or PVA.

Printing Notifications:

  • It is recommended to use a hardened steel nozzle, tungsten steel, or ruby nozzle to avoid nozzle abrasion.
  • Dry PET Support at 70-80°C for 8-12 hours before printing, as low moisture content is crucial for final printed part quality.
  • PET Support is sensitive to moisture and should be stored and used under dry conditions (Surrounding humidity below 15%).
