In 2015, while working on marketing campaigns for an 3D Printing company, we discovered that the products we were advertising were not available in Canada despite local interest. We decided to take it upon ourselves to build a 3D Printing showroom experience like no other in Canada with all of the experience we have of marketing to the 3D Printing industry globally.
HAVA 3D was created in 2013 and is now organized around three main business units: Makershop, Neofab and Sotec 3D. HAVA3D believes that 3D printing is now competitive enough to transform the way products are designed, developed, manufactured and made available.
This industry is unique and certainly not ‘mature’ yet, so the pace of development in all areas of AM is great to be a part of. The feeling that anything can be achieved when people approach a problem with positivity and a solutions-mindset is inspiring. In most industries, it takes years to see progress, but we see innovations happen on a daily/weekly basis.
We started in 2015 developing 3D printing filaments. In the same year Raise3D released their kickstarter for the Raise3D N-Series. We immediately were convinced that this machine would open great possibilities for 3D printing and when the machines were commercially available in 2016 we received our first Raise3D N2 Plus.
